Kiev: On Sunday, January 31, armed formations of the Russian Federation fired nine times at Ukrainian positions in the Donbas. However, the situation in the area of the Joint Forces operation remains under control.
This was reported by the press center of the JFO command.
In particular, in the area of responsibility of the Vostok tactical group, near Vodyanoye on the Azov Sea, the enemy opened fire from a 120-caliber mortar, automatic easel, heavy anti-tank and underbarrel grenade launchers, as well as large-caliber machine guns and small arms.
The headquarters stressed that in order to adjust the fire, the Russian mercenaries used an unmanned aerial vehicle of the "wing" type, which was suppressed in time by electronic warfare, which made its further use impossible.
Near Lebedinsky, the enemy carried out a provocative shelling from an 82-caliber mortar, near Pesok - from automatic easel grenade launchers. Near the Experimental, several bursts were recorded towards the Ukrainian positions from small arms, and in the suburb of Avdiivka - also from a large-caliber machine gun.
Since the beginning of this day, February 1, one violation of the ceasefire regime has been recorded. For example, near Avdiivka, in the area of responsibility of the Vostok operational-tactical grouping, the Russian occupation forces opened indirect fire towards our positions from hand-held anti-tank and under-barrel grenade launchers. There are no combat losses among our defenders.
