Tbilisi: In the capital of Georgia, 86 restaurateurs agreed to stop working on delivery for a day in order to express their dissatisfaction with the insufficient support of the government against the background of a "lockdown" that has been going on for two months.

As the head of the Association of Restaurateurs Shota Burjanadze said, the strike of the restaurateurs is scheduled for the whole day on January 30.

In parallel, the owners of the restaurant business are going to protest in front of the government building.

The hard lockdown in Georgia has been going on since November 28. Since February 1, the country is preparing to gradually ease restrictions, but even after the lockdown is weakened, most restaurants in Georgia will be able to operate only for food delivery.
