Kyiv: Hungary and Poland blocked adoption of budget and fund of restoring for 2021-27 years amounting to more than 1.8 trillion euros, Reuters reports.
It’s noted that Hungary and Poland stoop up to plans of allocating budget of EU according to standards of the rule of law required with project of budget.
Moreover, Poland regards imposition of such principle as meddling in internal affairs.
As source of agency stated, vetoing of project will cause serious political crisis.
It should be reminded that in July EU leaders adopted 7-year budget plan which provides for waste of €1.07 trillion for period of 2021-27.
