Bishkek: Former president of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambaev detained in remind prison, went on a hunger strike.

It’s stated by local media linking to lawyer Sergey Slesarev’s announcement.

It’s known that Atambaev made hunger strike decision due to transporting from remind prison of State Committee for National Security (SCNC) to detention center-1 of Bishkek.

,,In detention center-1 there are commonly confined most of suspects in any crime within the territory of Bishkek and Chuy region’’, local media states. 

On October 6, at night Atambaev’s supporters released him from remind prison in the background of mass protests in Kyrgyzstan. On October 10, Atambaev was detained again.
