Kyiv: Foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan Zograb Mnatsakanyan and Jeyhun Bayramov agreed on ceasefire in Nagorno-Karabakh from 12:00 October 10, ,,Interfax-Russia’’ informs.

It’s noted that negotiations lasted more than 10 hours and finished at night between Friday and Saturday.

Foreign minister of Russia Sergey Lavrov who already participated in negotiating process, read the points of the agreement:

1. The ceasefire from 12:00, October 10, 2020 for humanitarian aim of exchange of prisoners of war, other forcibly detained persons and bodies of the dead mediated by and according to the criteria of international Red Cross.  

2. Particular options of ceasefire will be agreed additionally. 

3. Azerbaijani Republic and Republic of Armenia will embark on substantive negotiations brokered by co-chairs of OSCE Minsk group on the basis of main principles of settlement with the purpose of rapid achievement of peaceful resolve.

4. The sides will confirm constancy of the format of negotiating process. 

Military conflict renewed in Nagorno-Karabakh on September 27 when Azerbaijani defense ministry announced about starting military operation through the whole contact line.
