Kyiv, Ukraine. On the shortage of police in the front-line
cities of Donbass on his Facebook page, said the head of the Main Department of
the National Police in Donetsk region Vyacheslav Abroskin.
"Speaking about the personnel of the unit, there are no
people wishing to go to serve in the frontline area. Now a shortage of
personnel is 22 people. He is most noticeable in the investigation department,
"Abroskin wrote.
He also added that on average about 40 calls are received on
the desk of operatives, of which only 10% have signs of criminal offenses.
"The time of arrival to the scene varies from 5-7
minutes to half an hour, because some calls have to go for 65 km. It is also
very often the visits of groups to document the consequences of shelling of
insurgents in front-line settlements of the region, "said the head of the
Donbas National Police.
In addition, if we talk about other problems of law
enforcement in Marinke, Abroskin noted that the police building in Marinka was
completely destroyed by militants. "But we will consult with specialists
about the possible restoration of this damaged room. In case of a positive response, we must restore
the police building",- says Vyacheslav Abroskin.
