Tbilisi: The first doses of Pfizer's coronavirus vaccine will arrive in Georgia by the end of February, Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia announced on his official Facebook page.
The head of government thanked the Director General of the World Health Organization Tedro Adan Gebreisus for the unprecedented support.
“Thank you to a friend of our country and personally to my friend, Director General of the World Health Organization, Tedros Adan Ghebreyusus, for his unprecedented support to Georgia. According to the national plan, vaccinations of our medical staff will begin immediately after receiving the vaccine. #The vaccine works! " - wrote Giorgi Gakharia.
