In the week ending January 15, the UK reported 7,776 deaths. The death certificates of these people mention the coronavirus. Thus, the official number of deaths of patients with COVID-19 has reached 103,602.
Britain is the fifth country in the world to achieve such numbers, after the United States, Brazil, India and Mexico. It now has the highest death rate from coronavirus per 1 million people than any other country.
