Kiev: If the presidential elections in Ukraine were held in the second half of January 2021, then 19.8% of those who made up their minds would vote for the current President Volodymyr Zelensky, 15.7% for the former head of state Petro Poroshenko, according to the results of the All-Ukrainian poll conducted by the Kiev International Institute of Sociology (KIIS) on January 22.

If we take all the respondents, then 13.4% of Ukrainians would vote for Zelensky, 10.6% for Poroshenko.

This is followed by Yulia Tymoshenko (8% and 11.8%, respectively), Yuriy Boyko (7.4% and 11%), Igor Smeshko (6% and 8.9%), Viktor Medvedchuk (5% and 7.5%) and Vladimir Groisman (3.9% and 5.8%).

The survey was conducted during January 22 by telephone interviews based on a random sample of mobile phones. 1005 respondents living in all regions of Ukraine (except for the Autonomous Republic of Crimea) were interviewed. The sample does not include territories that are temporarily not controlled by the Ukrainian authorities - the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, certain areas of Donetsk and Luhansk regions.

The statistical error of the sample does not exceed 3.1%.
