Kiev: The preliminary cause of the fire in a nursing home in Kharkov is careless handling of electric heating devices.
This was announced on Thursday, January 21, by the Prosecutor General of Ukraine Irina Venediktova.
In addition, as noted by the Prosecutor General, the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office has begun criminal proceedings on the fact of violation of the fire safety requirements established by law, resulting in the death of people.
"According to the data for this minute, 15 people died in the fire. Eleven people were injured ... The preliminary cause of the fire is careless handling of electric heating devices", - Venediktova wrote on her Facebook page.
