Kiev: Ukraine paid all contributions to the United Nations for 2021 and became the first country to fully contribute the entire amount.
This was reported by the Ukrainian representation to the UN on Twitter.
The representative office stressed that Ukraine is determined to continue to fulfill its obligations to the UN.
“Ukraine officially became the first UN member state in 2021, fully paid its contributions to the UN. Ukraine is determined to continue to fulfill its obligations to the UN by paying contributions in full and as soon as possible”, - the statement said.
Earlier, Ukraine was one of the first 25 member states of the organization that paid a regular contribution to the UN on time. For example, in 2019 it amounted to $ 1 million 589 thousand 288.
