Kyiv: Second branch of gas pipeline Eugal, which transports gas from ,,Nord Stream – 2’’, is going to work from April 1 next year. Previously it was expected to start from January 1, 2021, press service of operator informs.
Operator Gascade reported about postponement of launching Eugal branch. The delay of building new gas infrastructure is named as a reason.
First Eugal branch has been working since January 1, 2020. Its transport capacity equals 31 billion m3 gas in a year, both branches – 55 billion.
At present, part of Eugal transports Russian gas through ,,Nord Stream’’.
