Kyiv: Voting process in Ukrainian elections was organized quite well, however, government’s decision of cancelling local elections in 18 districts of Donbass didn’t ensure fully citizens’ vote right.

It was stated by head of OSCE observer mission of Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) Ingibjörg Sólrún Gísladóttir in the Monday briefing.

,,As for limited number of polling stations attended by ODIHR representatives on the vote day, we noticed that voting process went quiet in all, well-organized and transparent. All procedures were complied with’’, she added.

On October 25, voting for new composition of village, town, city, district and region (oblast) councils, also mayors and heads of villages and towns is held in Ukraine. Voting for nominees of local council deputies at every level is available from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm.
