Kyiv: 28-years-old physician involving in Covid-19 vaccine tests of AstraZeneca and Oxford University, died in Brazil on Thursday, October 22. It’s informed by O Globo linking to Brazil National Health Surveillance Agency (ANVISA).
It’s noted that 28-years-old man has received dose of testing vaccine in July yet, while coronavirus infection was revealed in September.
Moreover, according to ANVISA, doctor’s death isn’t related to safety of vaccine so tests are kept on. Besides that, physicians refused to give probable cause of death and stated that investigation was going on.
Partially, according to Bloomberg and BBC, Brazilian doctor got not testing vaccine but placebo.
In total, 20 thousand people are taking part in vaccine tests of AstraZeneca and Oxford University among which 8 thousand are from Brazil.
